Quintaword

A word puzzle with one rule: guess the hidden five-letter word in six tries.

Each guess colours its letters. Green means the letter stands in the right place. Yellow means the word contains it somewhere else. Grey means it is not there at all. Everything else follows from that.

A new word every day. One word for everyone, the same one until midnight in your own time zone. When you finish, the game shows how long is left until the next one.

Endless mode. When the daily word is done and you want more, keep going. Endless rounds have their own counters and never touch your daily streak.

Three dictionaries. Russian, English and Azerbaijani, each with its own alphabet and its own keyboard. Switch whenever you like; the interface follows your phone's language independently.

Hard mode. Once a letter is revealed, every later guess has to use it. The setting locks while a game is running, so it cannot be switched on halfway to make a win look better than it was.

Statistics that stay yours. Games played, win rate, current and best streak, and the distribution of how many tries each win took. Nothing reaches us: we run no server and keep no accounts.

Made to be readable. Light and dark themes, a high-contrast palette for anyone who finds green and yellow hard to tell apart, and letters set in a typeface chosen for the screen rather than for decoration.

Plays offline. The dictionaries live on your device. No network is needed to play.

The game is free and supported by advertising. There is no interstitial over your result: adverts appear between games, never on top of the word you just solved.
