Turn recipes and everyday extras into one list. Add your own recipe photos, shop with a partner and open chosen products in the AH app.

A grocery list that starts with what you want to eat — and the everyday things you need.

START WITH YOUR OWN LIST A new installation starts empty. Add your own recipes or discover recipes in the library and save an editable copy. Add everyday groceries without creating a recipe.

THREE SIMPLE TABS Recipes: save ingredients and cooking instructions once. Press + for each time you want to cook a dish; − removes its last-added occasion. Selected: expand each meal to adjust its people count. Cook the same dish twice with different portions and remove each occasion separately. Groceries: see combined recipe ingredients alongside products you add yourself. Enter a name, amount and unit, edit or remove an extra, and check things off as you shop. Share a text copy through your phone's sharing menu.

LESS TYPING NEXT TIME Gather remembers names of products you add yourself and suggests them as you type. Manage these names in Settings > Saved products. Removing a saved name removes its suggestion, not an item already on your list. Add the name again to remember it again.

AMOUNTS THAT MAKE SENSE Enter recipe amounts for the whole recipe or per person. Gather combines matching recipe ingredients with compatible units. Choose the default people count in Settings; each selected meal can still have its own count. Manually added products keep the amounts you enter.

SHOP TOGETHER Use Gather without signing in, or open Settings > Shop together to invite one partner. Each person uses their own verified email account. Share recipes, selected meals, manual groceries, saved product names, portions and checkmarks with equal editing rights. A single-use code lets your partner join.

Creating a household copies your current local collection into a separate shared space. Joining opens your partner's collection. Your original local data remains separate on your device. Language and photo-search permission stay personal.

OPEN IN THE AH APP Choose the exact Albert Heijn product and the number of packages for your remaining groceries. Product choices are remembered and can be changed. If a recipe amount cannot be converted into packages, choose the count yourself: two onions do not become two bags automatically.

Open chosen products directly in the installed AH app, using the account signed in there. Gather then closes the handoff screen. Another deliberate press offers the whole selection again and may increase quantities at AH. Gather receives no addition receipt, never retries automatically and never places an order. This unofficial feature is not endorsed or supported by Albert Heijn and depends on its app and services.

OPTIONAL PHOTOS AND SHARING Choose your own recipe photo from the system image picker. Replace it, remove it or save without a photo. A small copy works offline and is shared with your recipe in a household. You can separately allow Wikimedia Commons search for an illustrative photo; online searches and images need internet, and credits appear with the recipe.

Local recipes and grocery calculations work offline. Shared households use Firebase with a local offline cache; registration, joining and syncing require internet. Waiting changes and conflicts are shown in Your household.

Save favorite products with their usual quantity. Open Favorites in Groceries to add them again with one tap.
