The Gray Square

The Gray Square is a color-swap puzzle on a 7×7 board.

You are the gray square. Swipe to move. Landing on a tile trades your color with theirs: you leave what you were carrying and pick up theirs. Fill every goal cell to clear the board. Match them in par moves and you earn a gold tile — and a key.

Seven patterns. Each one is its own run of 49 boards, in sets of seven.

A key unlocks any level, whether or not you have reached it. You start with three. Clearing a board at par earns another. Packs of one or seven are in the shop if you want more.

Colorblind symbols put a distinct shape on every color. Goal outlines ring the cells you still have to fill. Both wait until you turn them on, from How to Play or Settings.

Progress is saved on the device and, on iPhone and iPad, restored through iCloud. No account. No ads.
