CHOOSE A VOICE AND PACE Preview AI voices for English and Mandarin. Choose a speech speed from 0.5x to 2x for newly generated audio and find a pace that suits you.

SAVE CHAPTER AUDIO FOR LATER Prepare chapters from the table of contents without starting playback. See download progress, cancel a task, or delete audio when you need space. Completed audio stays on your iPhone so you can listen again.

KEEP READING YOUR WAY Adjust text size, choose Light, Sepia, or Dark, and switch between page turns and vertical scrolling. Jump between chapters and return to your saved reading position.

BRING YOUR OWN LIBRARY Import EPUB files from Files or the share sheet. Your books and reading progress stay on your iPhone. Importing and reading books do not require an account; Read It does not include a book catalog.

AI AUDIO REQUIREMENTS Generating new audio requires internet access and an OpenRouter connection through OAuth or a valid API key. Model availability and pricing are set by the service; paid models may use credits from the account associated with the key. Read It does not include service credits.

PRIVACY When you generate audio, chapter text is sent to OpenRouter and its Fish Audio provider. Some included voices also send a bundled voice reference and transcript. Read It does not record your microphone.

Bring EPUBs you have the right to use. The app interface is currently in English.
