Noct Gallery brings your photos and videos together with an encrypted private gallery, a built-in camera, and thoughtful controls over the copies you share.

YOUR OWN PRIVATE GALLERY Keep encrypted photos and videos on your device, separate from Apple Photos. Move supported originals without changing their quality or metadata, copy cleaned media, or capture directly with the private camera. Private captures are never automatically added to Photos.

PHOTOS AND VIDEOS Browse your Apple Photos library with full or limited access. Play private videos, record with optional sound, and prepare processed copies for sharing while leaving your Photos originals unchanged. Shared video copies use H.264 and AAC, up to 1080p at 30 fps.

CHOOSE WHAT YOU SHARE Rebuild supported photos and videos to remove source metadata. When you want replacement metadata, choose from documented camera and lens profiles, save your own presets, or randomize compatible settings. Adjust dates and select optional coordinates on a map. Camera identity and location are optional.

PROTECTION YOU CONTROL Set a numeric PIN, use supported biometrics, connect a compatible FIDO2 security key, or combine these unlock methods. Security-key authentication runs on-device without an account or remote authentication server. Optional duress PINs can reset Gallery or keep only media you have selected as decoys. Purge and Reset removes the private gallery, its keys, temporary files, presets, and settings.

LOCAL BY DESIGN No app account, advertising, analytics, or developer-operated media storage. Private media is encrypted and excluded from backups. Keep your credentials safe: Gallery has no cloud recovery service.

Photos access is optional. Apple may download iCloud-backed originals when needed. Map tiles and place searches use Apple Maps; Gallery does not request your current location. Shared copies can be retained by your chosen destination.

Removing or replacing metadata does not hide identifying content visible or audible in media and does not guarantee anonymity. Move asks Photos to delete the verified original; deletion may sync through iCloud Photos. Empty Recently Deleted in Photos for immediate permanent removal. Unsupported or multipart media stays in Photos. Gallery reset and duress actions do not erase Photos or previously shared copies.
