WoodCheck is a woodworking checklist and inspection app for cabinetmakers, carpenters, furniture builders, installers, small shops, and careful DIY makers. Plan the work, verify each stage, record measurements and photo evidence, close defects properly, and create a professional PDF record from one focused workspace. Nine working stages, 12 professional checklists, and 63 built-in checks provide a ready-to-use framework.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Offline — create projects, run inspections, review evidence, and generate reports without an internet connection. • No Login — no account, email address, password, or team workspace is required. • Privacy First — project names, client details, measurements, notes, issues, photos, and reports stay under your control. • On Device — project storage, checklist logic, photo processing, progress calculations, and PDF creation happen on your iPhone or iPad. • No Cloud Upload — WoodCheck does not automatically send your work, photos, or reports to a server. A file leaves the app only when you choose a destination through the iOS share or save sheet.

QUALITY GATES THAT CANNOT BE SKIPPED Mark every item Not Checked, Pass, Fail, or N/A. A failed item creates an issue with severity, notes, time, and history. Critical failures display Do Not Proceed and block stage completion. An open failure cannot be hidden by changing the status: enter a corrective action and mark the issue resolved first. WoodCheck retains the earlier failure and resolution, so a later failure creates a new event instead of erasing the record. A project completes only after every stage, including Final Inspection, has been verified and open failures are resolved.

MEASUREMENTS AND PHOTO EVIDENCE IN CONTEXT Attach multiple readings to the exact check they support. Record length, width, thickness, angle, gap, moisture, or a custom measurement using metric or imperial units. Add several photos from the camera or the system photo picker, label them Before or After, and write captions that explain what matters. Images are resized for practical storage, saved with file protection, and kept beside the local project record. Evidence stays connected to the item, stage, issue, and report instead of disappearing into an unstructured camera roll.

PDF QUALITY RECORDS MADE LOCALLY Generate a dated progress or final report whenever you need a snapshot. Reports can include project details, overall and stage summaries, every checklist result, measurements, notes, unresolved and resolved issues, corrective actions, timestamps, inspection photos, captions, and final-verification status. Preview the paginated PDF in WoodCheck, save it through Files, print through an available iOS destination, or share it using an app you select. Saved reports remain available in the Reports tab until you delete them.

WoodCheck supports consistent documentation; it does not certify workmanship or replace approved drawings, contracts, engineering, building codes, site verification, equipment manuals, material data, or safe working practices. Confirm tolerances, loads, fixings, tool setup, protective equipment, and acceptance requirements for each job. Review exported records before relying on or sharing them.
