ScranScore is a score-prediction game you play in a private league with friends.

Before kick-off, call the scoreline, who scores first and who gets on the scoresheet — across four competitions:

Premier — every Premier League gameweek, plus West Ham's Championship matches. Copa — selected Carabao Cup ties. Scranpions — the Champions League, matchday by matchday. NFL — the same three questions in a different currency.

You score on how close you get. An exact scoreline is worth the most, a correct result less, the wrong result nothing at all — and being numerically close backing the wrong outcome is worth nothing, so there is no hiding behind a near miss. Naming the first goalscorer is optional and worth the most of any single call.

NFL is counted in touchdowns rather than points, so a 27-20 game is 3-2. Who scores first counts any score, a field goal included. In place of one goalscorer you name up to three anytime touchdown scorers, judged separately, so you can get one, two or all three — and a defense counts as a single pick. Each league follows nine franchises by default and can change them whenever it likes.

Each competition hands you its own booster for triple points — Premier every gameweek, Copa every round, Scranpions every matchday, NFL every week — so a European night never costs you the weekend. Your league has a shared table that updates as results land, weekly Top Scran and Not Scran awards for the best and worst weeks, and The Bourd — a group chat for the inevitable arguments, now one tap from wherever you are. Headlines for the competition you are looking at sit beside your fixtures, and opening a match shows the news about those two clubs before you pick.

Everyone's predictions stay hidden until each match kicks off, so nobody can copy.
