SketchCoach turns every drawing into a short lesson. A dashed guide shows you the next stroke, right where it goes and at the right size. Draw over it, and the app checks your stroke for shape, position and size, then tells you what to fix. A stroke it accepts settles onto the line it matched the moment you lift the pen: position and proportion snap into place, the shape eases toward the guide, and the hand in the line stays yours. When the drawing is done, you see your own lines next to the corrected version, with a similarity score. Then the guide goes away and you draw the same subject from memory.

HOW A LESSON WORKS • Pick a drawing. A dashed guide shows the next stroke. • Draw over it with a finger or Apple Pencil. • After every stroke you learn whether the shape, the position or the size is off. Redo it, or keep it and move on. • A stroke you keep settles onto the guide as it lands. The smallest marks are left exactly as drawn, because a dot has no shape to correct. Switch the tidying off from the lesson toolbar or in Settings and your lines stay exactly as you made them until the end. • Draw in any order, and split a long stroke into pieces if you like. • At the end, your own lines appear beside the corrected version with a similarity score.

THEN DRAW IT FROM MEMORY Tracing trains the hand. Drawing from memory shows what stayed with you. After every lesson you can hide the guide and draw the same subject on a blank canvas. The result is scored on its overall shape and shown next to the original.

233 DRAWINGS, 114 INCLUDED The included Easy level has 110 drawings of 1 to 12 strokes: 32 everyday objects, 24 from nature, 23 foods, 18 animals, 12 vehicles and a hot-air balloon in the clouds. Four harder ones are included too: a ninja, a Chinese-style girl, the Great Wave and Girl with a Pearl Earring, 23 to 30 strokes. All eight categories have something included. The Medium and Hard levels add 119 drawings of up to 121 strokes, spread across all eight categories: 33 animals, 20 people, 19 scenes, 10 everyday objects, 10 foods, 10 vehicles, 9 from nature and 8 famous paintings. They include harder animals and foods from ramen to a birthday cake, a waterfall, a bonsai, a typewriter, a record player, a biplane, an excavator, anime characters in school uniforms, hanfu and fantasy costumes, chibi animals, anime scenes such as a torii gate in the water or a station platform at night, a castle, a windmill, a Ferris wheel, a sailboat, long landscapes for a quiet evening, and the Mona Lisa and The Scream redrawn as simple line art. The stroke order is built for learning: it starts with a single line, almost every new stroke connects to what is already on the page, and a face gets its eyes along the way instead of at the end.
