milliWatched is a diary for the films and television you watch.

Log something the moment the credits roll, or twenty years later when you can only half remember it. Rate it, say how and where you watched it, and write down what you thought. The diary is yours: it works offline, it syncs across your own devices, and there is nothing to buy.

DATES YOU ACTUALLY REMEMBER

Most watch trackers make you pick a day. milliWatched asks how sure you are first: an exact date, a month, a year, "over five years ago", or no idea at all. It keeps what you said and shows it back the same way, instead of quietly filing it under the 1st of January.

• See what is trending, and what is in cinemas now
• Where to watch it in your country, led by the services you actually subscribe to
• Any actor or director's filmography, with how old they were for each credit and how much of it you have seen
• A Want to Watch list, for a film, a whole series, one season or a single episode

PEOPLE, WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT

There is no sign-up, no email address and no password. Your identity is a code held in your device's Keychain, so it follows your own Apple devices without you doing anything.

Following is one-way. Give someone your sharing ID and they can follow you; whether you follow them back is a separate decision. Followers see what you watched, your ratings and your comments. Whether they also see your viewing dates and how you watched is yours to switch on, and both start off. You can replace your sharing ID whenever you like without losing the people already following you, and you can block anyone.

FREE, AND STAYING FREE

No subscription, no in-app purchases, no adverts, and nothing metered. Search as much as you like.

Everything you have logged can be deleted from inside the app, all of it, whenever you decide.
