Parola teaches Italian vocabulary the way a dictionary would, if a dictionary drilled you.

Every word is introduced with a picture and no English at all, then given its meaning, then put to work in a sentence, a story, and finally a conversation between two people. By the time you reach the dialogue, it is built entirely from words you met ten minutes earlier.

Above beginner level the app goes monolingual, because that is how advanced learners actually study: the definition is in Italian, and the English sits behind a single tap for when you want it. Every one of the 3,400 words carries both — a real definition, not a one-word swap, because "interview" does not tell you that un colloquio is specifically the conversation in which a candidate is judged.
