NOTHING IS UPLOADED Every edit happens on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's own media frameworks. Your videos never leave the device. ClipSnip has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party code of any kind. It works in Airplane Mode. The only network activity is Apple's own App Store traffic when you view or restore a purchase.

NO WATERMARKS Not on the free tier. Not anywhere. Trimming, frame extraction, rotation, compression and GIF conversion up to 1080p are free and unlimited.

WHAT EACH TOOL DOES Trim — Fast mode copies the original samples, so there is no quality loss at all. Precise mode re-encodes for exact cut points. Video to GIF — Set the width, frame rate and optimisation, and see the frame count and estimated size before you convert. Extract Frame — Step frame by frame and save at source resolution in JPEG or PNG. Rotate — Quarter turns, half turns, and horizontal or vertical mirroring. Turns are lossless where the format allows. Compress — Pick a preset and see the estimated output size before you start. ClipSnip will tell you when a file is already small enough that compressing would make it larger. Change Speed — 0.25x to 4x, with the option to keep the original audio pitch.

CLIPSNIP PRO Pro adds 4K and HDR export, custom frame rates, batch GIF conversion and advanced compression controls. It is available as a monthly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Both unlock exactly the same features.

Also included: a share extension, so you can send a video to ClipSnip from Photos, and a Shortcuts action for converting video to GIF without opening the app.
