Fill a 5×6 grid with six pieces. That’s the whole puzzle.

Every piece is made of five squares. Drag a piece from the tray onto the board. To turn a piece, double-tap it in the tray and it rotates 90 degrees. When all six fit, the puzzle is done.

■ Learn by watching Each time you open the app, a short finger animation shows you the controls. The demonstration has no text to read: rotating, placing, undoing, hints and moving on to the next puzzle are all shown. Tap to skip it. Watch it again from its end screen, or the next time you open the app.

■ 24 puzzles, rotation only No flipping. Every one of the 24 puzzles has been verified solvable using rotation alone. Tap NEXT when you finish to move on; after the 24th, the set starts again from the first.

■ Stuck? Tap the bulb A hint outlines the next piece and exactly where it goes, and turns the piece to the right orientation for you. If your pieces have boxed you in, the hint notices. It returns only the fewest pieces needed to make the board solvable again, keeping as much of your work as it can. Don’t like the result? Undo puts everything back.

■ Change your mind any time Pieces already on the board can be dragged again. Drop one below the board to send it back to the tray. A piece dropped where it would overlap or hang off the edge returns to where it was. Undo steps back through your placements one move at a time. Restart clears the current puzzle so you can solve it from the beginning.

■ Pick up where you left off Your puzzle number, the pieces on the board and the orientation of the pieces in the tray are saved on your iPhone. Close the app, and the next time you open it you continue right where you stopped.
