Couple Lock is a screen time app you use with your partner.

Three times a day, the apps you choose stop opening until you send your partner something small. A photo of where you are. A voice note. An answer to a question nobody has asked you before. Send yours and your apps open again.

THE LOCK IS THE SAME ON BOTH PHONES

• You each pick your own apps, on your own phone.
• You each unlock by sending your own message.
• Neither of you can lock the other, unlock the other, or see which apps they picked.

• The lock is optional. Leave it off and everything else still works.

THREE THINGS A DAY

• Prompts drawn from hundreds: questions, would you rathers, small dares, things to notice.

• Six games, in real time when you are both free, or take your turn and leave it for them to find.

• Widgets, and a streak that only counts the days you both sent all three.

ONE SUBSCRIPTION, TWO PHONES

• One of you subscribes. The other joins free with a six character code.
• No second bill, ever.

PRIVATE, AND MOSTLY ON YOUR PHONE

• The blocking uses Apple's Screen Time API and runs entirely on your device.
• Which apps you chose never leaves your phone. We cannot see it and neither can your partner.
• Everything you send goes to exactly one person: the partner who entered your code.
• No feed, no discovery, no strangers, nothing arriving from anyone else.
• Either of you can delete everything from inside the app, at any time.

Couple Lock Plus is required to use the app, and one subscription covers both phones.

Couple Lock Plus is an auto renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless auto renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
