Fish farm biomass and feed log
Aquagrid is a working notebook for fish farmers. It keeps the whole production cycle in one place: the batches you stocked, the units they live in, what they weigh today, what they eat, what the water looks like and what the cycle will cost when it closes.
STOCK REGISTRY
Register tanks, cages and ponds with their volume and equipment, then stock batches of fingerlings into them. Every batch card shows live biomass, average weight, population, survival and the distance to market weight. Control weighings build a growth curve and a specific growth rate. Mortality records turn into a survival figure and a breakdown of causes. A top view of the farm shows every unit and how loaded it is.
GROW LAB
Ten zootechnical calculators built on real production formulas. Daily ration from biomass, species, temperature and fish size. Feed conversion ratio against the typical value for the species. Growth projection to market weight using a thermal growth model. Feed cost per kilogram of gain. Oxygen consumption and the flow needed to cover it. Biofilter surface from the daily ammonia load. Water exchange and turnover. Stocking plan calculated backwards from a production target. Temperature to growth curve. Full cycle economics with cost per kilogram, break-even price and margin.
WATER AND SYSTEMS
Log temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and salinity. Target ranges follow the species in the unit, and anything outside them is flagged immediately, with oxygen and ammonia first. Trends show each parameter over time so a drifting value is visible before it becomes an incident. A diagram of the recirculating loop explains every node and its service routine. Keep an equipment register with run hours and service state, a maintenance schedule, a feed store with fractions and expiry dates, a feeding log, energy consumption and an incident log.
AQUACULTURE ACADEMY
Twelve topics across three levels, from species and water quality to biofilter design, farm economics and hatchery work. Each topic is theory, a diagram, the mistakes that cost most, and a five question test. A species atlas compares trout, carp, sturgeon, tilapia, African catfish and whitefish by temperature, oxygen, density, feed conversion and cycle length. A glossary of more than 280 terms, a daily fact with a streak, and a competency radar that shows where your knowledge has gaps.
