SOLOHOOD connects people who work alone with someone nearby, right now, for coffee, coworking, a meal, a walk, a brainstorm or a chat.

It is built around an expiring status, not a profile. You say what you feel like doing and how long you are open for. Only people nearby who are also open during that window see you, and when the time runs out you disappear from the list.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Pick what you feel like doing and how long you are open for.
2. See who is open nearby, with a line on why the two of you might click.
3. Wave at someone. If they accept, a chat opens and you agree where to meet.

YOUR LOCATION STAYS YOURS One location fix is taken when you check in. Other people only ever see a rounded distance band, such as "within 500m", and a station-level area name. Your exact coordinates are never shown to anyone, and they are deleted within seven days of a check-in ending. There is no background tracking.

MEETING IS THE POINT The chat suggests open cafes near the midpoint between you, with walking times for both sides, and opens the one you choose in KakaoMap. For a first meeting a public place is best, and the app says so.
