Safe Families Care Engagement

Safe Families Care Engagement makes it easier for volunteers to connect, engage, and support families in their community.

Designed for existing Safe Families volunteers, the app provides a simple way to stay connected to the families you support, discover current needs, communicate with your Circle of Support, and document your volunteer engagement.

Stay Connected to the Families You Support View the families you are currently supporting and access important information related to your role and assignment. See the family's Circle of Support, goals, recent notes, and the other individuals working together to support the family.

Discover Needs Near You View current needs in your Safe Families community and discover opportunities to help. Needs are organized to help volunteers identify timely opportunities and find ways to provide support. When you find a need you may be able to fulfill, simply express your interest so the appropriate Safe Families team can review and coordinate the next steps.

Post a Need Volunteers supporting a family can submit needs directly through the app. Submitted needs are reviewed by the appropriate Safe Families staff before being published, helping ensure that needs are properly coordinated.

Document Your Support Quick Notes make it easier to document everyday interactions and support. Record a call, text, transportation, relational support, or another interaction without having to complete a lengthy note. When more information is needed, volunteers can also submit a detailed Full Note.

Connect With Your Circle of Support See the people working together to support a family and communicate with your Circle of Support directly through the app. The Circle of Support helps volunteers stay connected and work together as a community around the families they serve.

Stay Informed The What's Happening section keeps volunteers informed about Safe Families events, training opportunities, conferences, and other important information.

Your Safe Families Account Existing Safe Families volunteers can use their current CMS credentials to access the app—there is no need to create another Safe Families account. Biometric authentication, including Face ID or fingerprint authentication on supported devices, makes returning to the app quick and convenient.

Safe Families Care Engagement is designed to make volunteer engagement simpler—helping volunteers stay informed, find opportunities to help, connect with their community, and support families.
