Just Pace is for running a set distance in a set time. Pick a distance and a finish time on your iPhone, then start the run on your Apple Watch or on the iPhone itself and see, at a glance, whether you are ahead of or behind the pace you planned.

ON YOUR WRIST • The whole watch screen takes the colour of your pace: red when behind, green when on pace, and a shimmering celebration when you are flying. • Elapsed time, current pace and the seconds you are ahead or behind, in large type you can read mid-stride. • Haptic taps you can learn without looking: up means ahead, down means behind, a double tap means on pace. • Alerts at every kilometre or mile, when your pace state changes, a gentle reminder while you stay behind, and a buzz when you reach your target. • Pause, resume and end from the watch. The run keeps going even if your iPhone stays at home.

ON YOUR IPHONE • Set up a run in seconds: tap a race distance or enter your own, dial in a target time, and see the even split before you save. • Choose indoor or outdoor, and whether ahead-or-behind is measured over the whole run or per kilometre or mile. • Every Target Run you create syncs to your watch automatically and is ready to start. • No watch, or prefer to carry the phone? Start the run on your iPhone. It shows the same live feedback, plays the same haptics while Just Pace is on screen, and keeps tracking with the phone locked in your pocket. • Choose which haptics you want, and switch between kilometres and miles.

SAVED TO APPLE HEALTH Every completed run is saved as a running workout in Apple Health with the same data the Workout app records: distance, heart rate, energy and running metrics. Outdoor runs also save a GPS route and elevation gain, so they appear on a map in Fitness.

No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no analytics. Your runs stay on your devices and in Apple Health.
