ASKA Events: badge scanner

ASKA Events is the app of the two people who keep an event running: the one on the door, and the one on a stand.

At the entrance, the host scans the visitor’s QR code and the Odoo registration is confirmed. The queue moves. When the site wifi goes down, which it does almost every time at peak hour, they keep scanning: check-ins pile up on the phone and go up as soon as the connection returns.

On a stand, the exhibitor scans the badges of the visitors they meet. That list stays theirs, separate from the other exhibitors’: it lives on their phone and exports at the end of the day. They can also have a questionnaire filled in on the spot, the one you prepared in Odoo.

ASKA Events runs on Odoo Community as well as Odoo Enterprise. Your data goes from the phone to your Odoo server, and nowhere else. The app uses Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports.
