Crown Pass reimagines the classic Huarong Dao sliding-block puzzle as a journey of escape, terrain, and teamwork.

The goal is clear: guide the 2×2 commander through the gate on the southern edge. The route is not. Slide cavalry, guards, archers, scouts, engineers, and naval troops through crowded formations without rotating them. Every move changes the shared space, and the order of your decisions matters.

【From classic foundations to tactical puzzles】

• Begin with a short interactive tutorial, then learn how to create and transfer open space. • Progress through five themed chapters arranged by solver-verified difficulty. • Play a standalone classic Huarong Dao board whenever you want a traditional challenge. • Unlock each campaign puzzle by clearing the one before it.

【Terrain changes the route】

• Irregular boards use cliffs and missing corners to create varied silhouettes. • Mountains are permanent obstacles that divide the playable space. • Rivers can be entered, crossed, and occupied only by naval troops and helmsmen. • Gold shield cells form commander-only corridors leading toward the southern gate.

【Troops with meaningful abilities】

• Engineers must travel to unfinished works before they can complete a crossing for every troop. • Some southern exits are hidden. Move an engineer to the lower edge and Survey the cell directly below it. Each engineer has only one attempt, so positioning and deduction both matter. • Naval troops can wait on river cells, freeing scarce land space so the commander and other troops can advance. • Later chapters combine land routes, water routes, terrain, and troop order in the same puzzle.

【Built for careful play】

• Every included board has a verified solution and a recorded minimum action count. • Chapters 1 and 2 include unlimited optimal-solution playback. The demonstration starts from the original board, does not count as a clear, and restores your own position afterward. • Undo or restart at any time. Your current board, undo history, completed puzzles, and personal bests are saved on your device. • One continuous straight slide counts as one action, while distance is recorded separately for clearer results.

• Full-piece character artwork is composed separately for square, vertical, and horizontal troops. • Distinct portraits make crowded formations easier to follow, with cultural visual themes matched to the selected game language. • Selected pieces receive a clear highlight, and contextual actions appear only when they are legal. • Phones use a focused portrait layout, while tablets provide dedicated portrait and landscape arrangements.
