KagTuk is a private family network. One tree, one family, and nobody else — no public profiles, no strangers to follow, no advertising and no tracking.

BUILD THE TREE Start with yourself and add one relative at a time: parents, siblings, a spouse, children. Someone already on the tree can be linked into their existing place instead of being entered twice. Every entry can be invited to join and claim it as their own. This is a graph, not a list — half siblings, second marriages, step and adopted relationships, and partners who are no longer together all have a shape here.

SEE IT AS A MAP The lineage view folds a large family so that five generations stay readable on a phone; the whole-tree view fits everyone inside the frame. Couples sit together, each set of siblings shares a colour, and a dashed line marks a half sibling. Tap anyone to re-centre the tree on them and read their branch.

A FEED ONLY YOUR FAMILY SEES Post moments — photographs, video, a few words — to your family up to five generations out, or narrow the audience to one branch, one circle, or one person. Stories last a day. Every read is authorised on the server against the tree itself, so there is no public timeline to find and nothing is ever recommended to a stranger.

THE DATES THAT MATTER Birthdays, anniversaries and the dates you create yourself arrive on one calendar, each carrying the face of the person it belongs to. Keep a wishlist so that a gift is never a guess.

FAMILY CHATS The whole family hall, a circle, or one person.

YOU DECIDE WHO SEES WHAT • Sign in with a six-digit email code, a password, or Sign in with Apple. • Hide any relative: their moments, stories, comments and messages leave every one of your views, and they cannot open a conversation with you. • Report a moment, comment, story, message or profile from its ⋯ menu. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. • An entry you added can be removed until that person joins. Once they join, only they can change or remove their own profile. • Download everything you have shared as a single file, or delete your account outright, from Settings.

PRIVACY BY CONSTRUCTION No advertising. No analytics. Nothing sold, nothing shared. Photographs and video are re-encoded on your phone before they are uploaded, so the location written into the file never leaves the device. Deleting your account takes effect at once: the account, the sign-in, the photographs, the posts and the messages are destroyed, and the tree keeps only the name, the dates and the relationships so that your family's history is not rewritten around you.
