Push too hard and they walk out. Land the right line and they open up and tell you what's really going on. Speak your turn or type it — your call. Role-play, but with someone who remembers what you said three turns ago.

GET A DIRECTOR'S DEBRIEF When the scene ends you get one takeaway sentence first, then scores across clarity, empathy, firmness and structure, notes on the specific lines that worked and the ones that didn't, and a stronger version of your shakiest sentence. Then run it again.
