3D MARS GLOBE The interactive 3D globe is your home screen, wrapped in a real Viking-mission surface map. Every landing site — successful or lost — is pinned on the surface. Rotate and zoom Mars freely, then tap any pin to jump straight to that mission. You can also jump to any landing site from the mission details.

WORKS OFFLINE Every mission, image and fact is bundled with the app, so the app works perfectly well with no internet connection at all. Only two things reach out to the internet: mission videos, and fetching each day's new NASA picture. Without a connection everything else carries on as normal.
