Nameless is an MMA career sim built around the exchange. Every exchange stops and lays out what you can do from right here. Close the distance, hold your ground, take them down — all of it is your call. (Auto-play is there for a round or a whole fight when you want it, but manual is the default and the point.)

■ YOUR ART IS YOUR SHAPE

Twelve of them: boxing, muay thai, jiu-jitsu, wrestling, judo, sambo, kickboxing, ssireum and more. Each one hands you the phases you win and the phases you don't. Boxing owns punching range and drowns on the ground. Jiu-jitsu is the mirror image.

All 66 pairings were simulated until every one of them sat between 30% and 70%. There is always more than one way to beat the man in front of you.

Study tape in camp and you start reading habits. "Chin tucks, weight shifts back — he's slipping to counter." Forty-eight tells to collect, and the fight looks different with each one.

The odds never move. What moves is what you know.

■ CAMP IS ABOUT WHAT YOU GIVE UP

Two slots a week. Training and side work draw from the same two — earn money and you train less. Push too hard and you get hurt, and an injured hand barely trains at all. Knowing when to rest is the whole game.

Overwhelming strength keeps you off the mat in the first place. But once you're down there, size stops mattering — the way it actually works.

At 38 the body answers first. When you retire, a student takes over — and you choose what passes down: one technique, the money, or the gym. Whatever you left unfinished makes the next generation stronger.
