Rackometry

Rackometry is an offline-first rack planning and equipment documentation tool for data-centre engineers, infrastructure teams and IT professionals.

Create and manage equipment racks from your iPhone, record installed assets and check available rack space while working on-site. Your rack information stays stored locally, so the core app continues to work when network access is limited or unavailable.

Free features include: • Visual rack planning with front and rear views • Rack-unit placement and overlap checks • Manufacturer, model, hostname, serial number and asset-tag records • Equipment dimensions, weight and power information • Blade chassis and blade asset records • A-feed and B-feed PDU planning • Configurable outlet numbering and phase labels • Power-connection compatibility and occupied-outlet tracking • Cable labels and upstream PDU supply references • CSV import and export • Locally saved equipment specifications • Manual data entry at all times

Optional Rackometry Pro adds: • Searches of the shared online equipment catalogue • Multiple matching product and chassis variants for the user to review • Source and verification details before a result is applied • Requests for missing models to be researched

Pro includes an optional 14-day free trial and a separate one-off unlock. There is no subscription and no automatic charge. Manual entry, saved specifications, racks, PDU tools and CSV transfer remain available without Pro. Online searches require internet access and catalogue coverage varies.

Online searches send only the public equipment category, manufacturer and model—not rack inventory, asset tags, serial numbers or hostnames.

Rackometry assists with planning and documentation. Always confirm specifications, electrical loads, suitability and installation requirements against manufacturer documentation and site-engineering rules.
