KNOW BIRDS BY THEIR SONG Record a few seconds of birdsong and Seen identifies the singer. Useful for the birds you can hear perfectly well and cannot see at all.

A CATALOGUE WORTH BROWSING More than 700 species, each with an original watercolour plate, a description, and lookalikes to help you separate the ones that are easily confused. Good on the sofa, not only in the field.

YOUR FIELD JOURNAL Every sighting is dated and placed on a map. Group them into trips — a week in the Mara, an hour on the estuary — and watch the record build. The species you log fill out collections and earn trophies along the way.

SHARE, OR DON'T Your journal is private until you decide otherwise. Publish a sighting when you want to, follow other spotters, and see what is being found near you. Every post and every spotter can be reported or blocked, and blocked spotters stay blocked.
