Two minutes of talking, four numbers back: filler rate, pace, pauses, clarity. And what changed since last time.

You are already good with words. You just do not like how you sound when it matters.

PacePause measures how you deliver a talk, not how you say the words. Record between fifteen seconds and three minutes and get back the four things that decide whether a room stays with you.

WHAT IT COUNTS • Filler words — how many "um", "uh", "like" and "you know" per 100 words • Pace — words per minute, against the 130-160 band that lands • Pauses — how often you stop for half a second or more, and for how long • Clarity — sentence length, repetition and false starts

Then one score out of 100, and what moved since your last session.

WHO IT IS FOR • Professionals who have to present • Candidates rehearsing for an interview • Creators recording video or a podcast • Anyone who has to speak up in a meeting and hears their own voice shake

HOW A SESSION GOES Take a prompt, or paste the talk you are actually giving. Record. Listen back before anyone else does. Nothing leaves your phone until you press Send: stopping a recording does not upload it, and a take you delete was never sent.

READ IT TWICE The second reading is the point. Record the same text again and PacePause sets the two side by side, so you watch a habit move instead of guessing.

THE DAILY DRILL Sixty seconds of talking with deliberate pauses, measured on your device from silence alone. No transcript, nothing uploaded, no score to be anxious about.

WHAT IT WILL NOT DO It will not tell you your voice is wrong. It does not judge how you sound, where you are from, or the words you choose. It counts habits you can change by Friday.

YOUR RECORDINGS Audio is sent to Groq, a third-party speech-to-text provider, so it can be turned into text. The audio file is not stored. What is kept is the transcript and your scores, and you can delete your account and all of it from Settings.

PACEPAUSE PRO Free gives you 2 sessions a day. Pro gives you 10. Everything else — the scoring, your history, the weekly report — is in both.

Yearly and weekly subscriptions are charged to your Apple ID and renew automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage them in your App Store account settings.
