Self-guided audio city walks
12 iconic microtours in Barcelona, 6 in Girona, and Tarragona and Sitges on foot, a growing catalog of walks. One full walk free in every major city. Offline.
Citourfy is a walking audio guide that tells you the story of a place at the exact moment you walk past it. No groups, no departure times, no rented headsets: you walk at your own pace and the app knows where you are, so the narration starts right where it should.
HOW IT WORKS
• Pick a microtour — a narrated walk of 23 to 56 minutes through one specific area.
• Start walking. The app uses GPS to track where you are and plays each stop as you reach it.
• Listen to the history, the legend or the anecdote of that exact spot — researched, not one generic recording stretched over a whole city.
• Keep going at your own pace: stop for photos, duck into a bar, come back. The app waits for you.
ONE FULL TOUR FREE IN EVERY MAJOR CITY
Before you pay for anything, you can walk one complete microtour for free in every major city we cover (the ones with more than 5 tours). No card, no sign-up, no time limit.
WORKS OFFLINE
Download a tour before you head out and both the audio and the map work with no mobile data. Perfect for skipping roaming charges, or for the narrow old-town streets where coverage drops.
WHAT YOU GET
• Walks built neighborhood by neighborhood: old quarters, waterfronts, hilltop parks, Jewish quarters, Roman ruins, fishing quarters, film locations. Real history, local legends and documented anecdotes.
• We add new cities regularly — the up-to-date catalog lives inside the app.
• Buy microtours one at a time from $0.99 — pay only for the walks you actually want. In smaller cities, like Girona or Tarragona, you can also get a city pack at a discount off the total.
NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED
You don't need to create an account or hand over your email to use the app or to buy a tour.
PREVIEW IT FROM HOME
Want to know whether you'll like it before you book the trip? Turn on preview mode for any microtour and listen to the whole thing from your couch, with a simulated walk that plays the stops in the same order as if you were there.
Citourfy isn't a replacement for a human guide. It's what you use on the days you'd rather walk alone, at your own pace, without waiting for the group to catch up.
