Velin is a handwriting-first notebook built for iPad and Apple Pencil — and it works with your finger on iPhone too. Write naturally, annotate imported PDFs, organize notebooks into customizable libraries, and arrange the work that matters on your personal desk.

Hold the pen still to snap a stroke into a perfect line, circle, rectangle or triangle. Drop in math tools, charts and timelines, resize any object by its corner, and pour colour into closed shapes with the fill tool. Turn pages with tactile animations, search recognized handwriting and imported PDF text, record audio linked to your pages and strokes, build study cards, and present a page with a laser pointer. Export annotated work as PDF, protect notebooks with Face ID, and move your whole workspace with backup and restore.

Velin is private by design. Your work stays on your device and leaves the app only when you explicitly export or share it.
