Welcome to a world of clues, objects, stories, and discoveries. Clio the Time Owl guides your child through Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome, and the Viking world—places where everyday people built, traveled, traded, created, and solved problems.

Instead of asking children only to memorize names and dates, History for Kids: Adventures invites them to look closely, compare what changed, and work out how things fit together. A mosaic, an aqueduct, or a Viking longship becomes a question to investigate: What do you notice? How did it work? Why did it matter?

Three ways to learn in every chapter

Across 30 chapters, your child plays 90 primary games:

• Tap & Discover — notice a visual clue and reveal the history behind it. • Time Lens — move between past and present to see how a place or object once looked or worked. • Match & Build — choose and place the part that completes a structure, tool, or historical idea.

These short interactions invite careful observation, comparison, and reasoning. A wrong choice gently resets the moment, so your child can look again and try a different answer—without scores to lose or failure screens.

A library with more to discover

Each chapter also includes an optional guided tracing bonus. Nine History Lab games let children work a simple machine, guide a journey, and put a historical process in order across all three worlds.

For a quieter kind of exploration, Story Island offers 10 listen-only Roman journeys, each told in three long-form narration parts. Bundled English narration, ambience, and sound effects bring the stories closer, while a master sound control lets your family choose how to listen.

A museum that grows with every discovery

Finishing a chapter places a new artifact in Clio’s History Museum. Your child can return to 30 artifacts to revisit a fact and the longer story, or replay the connected chapter. The museum turns progress into something visible and gives each discovery a place beyond the first activity.

History through everyday life

Your child might follow the Nile and decode hieroglyphs, discover how aqueducts brought water to Roman cities, or explore Viking longships, weaving, and trade weights. The focus stays on the work, craft, travel, and ideas of everyday people—not only on battles.

Made for ages 6–8, with family peace of mind

Clear steps and gentle feedback help children continue on their own; English narration also gives families something to listen to together. Reduced Motion is supported on iPhone and iPad. There are no ads, accounts, third-party analytics, tracking, profiling, chat, public profiles, or child uploads. The app does not request a child’s name, email, location, camera, or microphone.

Progress and sound preferences stay on the device. Lessons, art, and audio are bundled for on-device use. Apple services are needed to display subscription products, purchase, restore, and verify active Premium access. Purchases and external links are kept behind a parent math gate.

Premium access

An active Premium subscription is required to enter the adventures after onboarding. Weekly, three-month, and yearly auto-renewable plans provide the same content access; localized prices and durations appear before purchase. No free trial is offered.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Restore Purchases is available in the app.
