DISCOVER Browse a worldwide catalogue of artworks, artists and museums, built from open cultural data. Follow a work to its artist and the museums that hold it. Search by art movement, read sourced artist introductions and artwork descriptions where available, and discover recommendations shaped by your interests.

PLAY ART TRIVIA Test your eye and your knowledge with a free daily challenge: five questions, five difficulty levels, the same challenge for everyone. Recognize artists, place artworks and explore art history. Compare scores with friends or keep playing in endless mode. Free endless play uses ink that refills daily; correct answers earn some back.

EARN ACHIEVEMENT PINS Your art discoveries can earn collectible pins inspired by art history. Find them through the works you see, museums you visit and other activity, then revisit your earned pins on your profile.

IDENTIFY Point your camera at an artwork or choose photos from your library. Artspecta suggests catalogue matches for you to review. Confirm a match to record it in your Journal. Artwork recognition requires Artspecta+.

REMEMBER Keep a Journal of the works you have seen and the museums you have visited, with dates and private notes. Artspecta+ lets you add private photos, explore Personal Insights and export your Journal as a PDF. Journal notes and photos stay private.

PLAN YOUR NEXT VISIT Find museums by destination or your location. See where an artist's works are held, or view the artworks and museums in a collection on a map. Personal map colours and filters help you find places you have visited or favour, and works you have seen or liked. Catalogue holdings do not guarantee that a work is currently on display.

COLLECT AND SHARE Save artworks, artists and museums to Want to see or your own collections. The free plan includes Want to see plus up to three custom collections. Organize discoveries, share collections and invite friends to collaborate. Choose who can see your profile activity and catch up with friends in Feed.

MAKE IT YOURS Choose a light or dark appearance, or follow your device settings. Available in eight interface languages.

ARTSPECTA+ Artspecta+ is an optional subscription with artwork recognition, private Journal photos, Personal Insights, Journal and collection PDF exports, unlimited collection creation, and endless trivia without ink limits, including the two highest difficulty levels. Fair-use limits apply to recognition and photo storage. The daily trivia challenge, achievement pins and core discovery and Journal features are free.

Artspecta uses open cultural data and content from OpenStreetMap, Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, Wikipedia and Europeana.
