StatMax is an Australian rules football statistics app for recording and analysing team performance from one iPhone.

It can be used live during a match or afterward from recorded vision. It is designed for all grades and skill levels, from local and community football through to higher-level analysis.

StatMax records match events through simple tap inputs. Kicks, handballs, marks, tackles, goals, behinds and other actions are assigned to each team and stored in match order.

The app calculates more than 100 team metrics from the recorded events. Statistics update in real time and can be filtered by quarter and field location.

Users can disable action groups they do not want to record, then enable them again when needed. This allows the amount of data collected to match the user’s available time and tracking ability.

The event log stores each recorded action in chronological order. Events can be corrected, added or removed after they are recorded.

Match data can be reviewed directly in the app or exported for further analysis. Selected statistics can be exported to CSV, along with the complete event history.

StatMax can also generate match reports and graphics from recorded data for sharing with players, coaches, clubs or on social media.
