Numalo is a daily number puzzle paper for people who like to think with figures.

Six puzzle types are waiting every morning: Sudoku, Kakuro, Binary, Futoshiki, Hitori and Number Sequence. Each one is drawn properly, with clean grids and generous type.

EVERY PUZZLE HAS EXACTLY ONE ANSWER

This is the part most puzzle apps get wrong. Numalo works out each puzzle on your device and then proves it can only be finished one way before handing it to you. You will never need to guess, and you will never be told a correct grid is wrong.

THE SIX PUZZLES

Sudoku. Fill the 9x9 grid so every row, column and box holds the digits 1 to 9 once.

Kakuro. The cross-sums puzzle. Fill each run of squares with digits that add up to its clue, never repeating a digit inside a run.

Binary. Fill the grid with 0s and 1s. Never three of the same in a line, and an equal count of each in every row and column.

Futoshiki. The inequality grid. Every number once per row and column, respecting the greater-than and less-than signs between the squares.

Hitori. Shade squares out until no number repeats in a row or column, without letting two shaded squares touch or cutting the grid in two.

Number Sequence. A short run of numbers with one term missing. Seven themes: arithmetic and geometric runs, the Fibonacci sequence, squares, cubes, primes and triangular numbers.
