Keeps: Game Scorekeeper

Keeps is a scoreboard for the games you play around a table.

Every player gets a big colour panel with their score on it. Tap to add a point. Drag up or down and the number runs with your finger. Press and hold to move a player into the seat they're actually sitting in. That's the whole app — no setup, no sign-up, nothing to learn.

A BOARD FOR EVERY GAME Keep cribbage on one board and euchre on the next. Each board has its own players, its own colours and its own scores, so a game you left half-finished is still there when you come back to it.

MADE TO BE READ ACROSS A TABLE Panels lay themselves out to fill the screen, whether there are two players or ten, in portrait or landscape. Pick any colour you like for a player and Keeps works out a text colour that stays readable against it — so the number is legible from the far end of the table.

WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL The whole app works offline. Not a reduced version of it: a game in a cabin scores exactly like a game at the kitchen table.

KEEP THE GAMES YOU PLAY When you reset a board, Keeps offers to save it first. Saved games keep their players, colours and final scores along with the date, and you can start a fresh game from any of them with the same people.

ON ALL YOUR DEVICES Turn on iCloud sync and your boards follow you between your iPhone and iPad. It uses your own iCloud account, so your games are never stored on our servers — and there is still no account to make.

EVERYONE CAN FOLLOW ALONG Put one device in charge of the board and hand out a code, a link or a QR code. Everyone else watches the score change as it happens, and only the host can change it, so nobody can knock the score out from under you.

People without the app can watch too — the link opens a live, read-only scoreboard in any browser.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No sign-in. No friends lists, no profiles, no feed. No ads and no tracking. Your boards live on your device, and the only thing that ever leaves it is a board you deliberately choose to share, which holds nothing but the names and scores you typed in.

KEEPS PREMIUM Keeping score is free, and always will be. Watching someone else's board is free. iCloud sync is free.
