Podium is a PDF sheet-music reader built for the stage. It cares about two things: how fast a page turns, and how closely ink follows the pen.

■ Made for performing · Pages never make you wait. Neighbouring pages render ahead of time in the background. Turn by gesture, tap or arrow key (external keyboard, or a Bluetooth pedal that sends arrow keys). · Performance mode: the interface disappears, the screen can stay awake, and a setlist turns straight into the next piece. · Night mode: the score inverts onto warm paper, for the pit, the wings and stage lighting. · Single page or two-page spread. Margins can be turned off. Pages rotate. · Fully usable offline — a whole concert with no network at all.

■ Apple Pencil annotation · The system low-latency path: ink appears under the tip, pressure follows your hand. · Five pens — fountain, ballpoint, pencil, marker, highlighter — three colour slots, any colour each, three widths. · Two erasers: wipe a whole stroke, or erase by area. Double-tap the Pencil to switch to the eraser. · Type text in place; stamp the full set of musical symbols — dynamics, articulations, slurs, fingerings. · Annotations live outside the PDF: your original file is never modified; the layer hides with one tap. · Strokes are an append-only log, so annotations don't get lost in sync.

■ Library · Folders nest without limit. A score and all its parts stack into one pile that fans open in place. · Long-press to drag; select several at once to move, export or delete. · Setlists put a concert in order, then start performance mode. · Page editing: thumbnail overview, jump, drag to reorder, delete. The PDF stays untouched and annotations follow their page. · Trash keeps deleted items for seven days. · Practice log: opening a score starts the timer, so you see how long you really practised.

■ Getting music in · Import PDFs from the file picker, by drag and drop, or shared from another app. Stored by content, so one score is kept once on disk. · Scan paper music with the camera: flattened, de-shadowed, and a detected two-page spread can be split in two. · Search 260,000 public-domain works from IMSLP in-app. You download on IMSLP's own pages and the file lands in your library.

■ Practice tools · Metronome: time signature, subdivisions, per-beat accents and mutes, three timbres. · Tuner: live note name and cent deviation, a reference pitch, adjustable A4. · A piano keyboard for checking a note.

■ Sync and privacy · Library and annotations sync through your own private iCloud database. We run no server and cannot read any of it. · No analytics, no advertising, no tracking. · Camera only for scanning, on device. Microphone only for the tuner; audio is never recorded or uploaded. · The app ships no sheet music of its own — import PDFs you have the right to use — and users cannot share scores with each other.

■ Podium Pro subscription Without a subscription you can still open the scores you already have, turn pages, zoom, see annotations you already drew, use performance mode, and export an annotated PDF. What is yours stays reachable.
