Dino Kids is Digi Dinos' contribution to the community: a free learning app for ages 3+, so any family can teach a child without weighing up the cost.

Dino Kids is an all-in-one learning app for children from age 3: drawing, colouring, handwriting, Vietnamese phonics, maths, English, Japanese and music — free, no ads, no in-app purchases.

WHY IT IS FREE

Dino Kids is what Digi Dinos Joint Stock Company gives back to the community, not a source of revenue. We want every family to have one more way to teach a child without weighing up the cost, and parents to have more time to play and learn beside them.

No subscription, nothing to buy inside, no advertising and no third-party analytics — so no child's data is being sold either. Every lesson is open the first time a child taps it; Digi Dinos carries the cost.

THE PARENT'S OWN VOICE

• Record your own voice for the lessons, across all 1,878 sounds, syllables and words, so a child reads in the accent of home. • Record as many or as few as you like; the rest plays in the synthesised voice. Praise too, in your own phrases.

MUSIC — PIANO FROM ZERO

• 27 lessons in 6 stages, from first touch to five-finger songs • One octave at a time, so every key is wide enough for a small finger; a wrong key still sounds • 100 songs in a grid: 76 written for this app, 24 folk and classical tunes with their origins named • Notes fall down the exact key column they name, as tall as they are long — a child sees where a finger goes • A three-step tempo button (tortoise, hare, horse), and free play across three octaves

THE ALPHABET • One screen, three languages: 29 Vietnamese cards, 26 ABC cards, 104 hiragana and 46 katakana • Tap a card to hear the letter, then a word — "ay … apple" — with an emoji for pre-readers

ENGLISH • Counting 0–20, each card showing the quantity three ways: numeral, dots, English word

DRAWING AND COLOURING • Line art across 16 themes, outlines thick and closed so colour stays in • Free drawing on blank paper: pencil, brush, glitter pen, 34 stampable shapes • Dot-to-dot: drag across the grid, any loop that closes fills itself; 100 puzzles • 12 colours for younger children, 36 for older. Paint-style mixing: blue + yellow make green • Finger, Apple Pencil or stylus, with palm rejection; 30 steps of undo

HANDWRITING • 275 characters with stroke order: Vietnamese and English letters, tone marks, digits, kana • Scored stroke by stroke, showing only the stroke to redo

VIETNAMESE PHONICS • Grade 1 curriculum: 40 sounds, 6 tones, 145 rimes, 609 syllables • The child assembles onset + rime + tone, and the app reads each step aloud

JAPANESE • Hiragana and katakana: 150 characters with stroke order • JLPT vocabulary and grammar, N5–N1: 387 words, 81 patterns, meanings in three languages

MATHS AND PRE-SCHOOL • Number recognition, counting, comparing, sums within 10, shapes, pre-school work

THINKING AND MEMORY • Mazes: 100 levels, each with exactly one way out, the grid growing with the child • Join the numbers: 100 puzzles joining 1–2–3 into a picture, each number spoken • Flip cards: 100 matching rounds using 193 national flags, each named aloud

PLAYTIME • Finish a lesson and a sticker drops into the bag — 72 across 6 sets. Enough lessons earn a ticket to one of seven games • A Dino companion hatches from an egg and grows with the stars, plus 40 badges

PARENTAL CONTROLS • The parental area sits at the top of Settings, behind a multiplication gate • Parents unlock lessons per child, set how many earn a ticket, and control the microphone • Several child profiles, each with its own gallery and progress • Reading practice is scored on device — the voice never leaves it, and is off by default • Delete your account in the app, with no waiting period

No account needed: open the app and every lesson works. An account only carries data between devices.

Every touch target is sized for a 3-year-old's finger, and a child never scores zero stars — what is not yet done is an outline, not a red X.
