THE STORY

Obby is built by one person. I moved to Thailand, needed to actually learn the language — not greetings, the real vocabulary — and couldn't find an app that took an adult learner from beginner to advanced without accounts, ads and subscriptions in the way. So I built it myself, end to end.

The little mascot is named after Obby, a real Thai teacher whose classes inspired this app. A share of every sale supports her.
