Scam Finder is a rule-based safety checker. The analysis runs on your device; the message, link or number you scan is never sent to any server.

WHAT IT CHECKS

• Links — domain age, certificate, redirect chain, known phishing and malware lists • Messages and SMS — urgency pressure, payment redirection, credential and code requests • Phone numbers — known complaint records, carrier prefix risk, repeat callers • IBAN and payments — institution match and manipulation signals together • QR codes — with the camera or from a screenshot in your gallery • Email headers — who actually sent it • Institution verification — for messages claiming to be your bank

TOOLS

• Password strength meter and a secure generator • Breach check via Have I Been Pwned k-anonymity: only the first five characters of your password's SHA-1 hash leave the device, never the password • Safety habits questionnaire • Protection centre — which step to take, in which order, if you have already been defrauded • Official reporting channels • Blocked number list (you enable it in iOS Settings)

PRIVACY

• No accounts, no sign-in, no profile • Scanned content stays on the device • History is kept only when you choose to save it, and it is encrypted • The optional community report sends the bare domain and nothing else

Premium removes in-app ads. That is all it does — no check is locked behind it, and every feature works fully in the free version. Monthly or yearly, cancel any time.

Scam Finder gives rule-based guidance, not a guarantee. Whatever the result says, call the institution on its official number yourself before sending money or sharing information.

Scam Finder Premium is an auto-renewable subscription. • Premium (Monthly) — 1 month • Premium (Yearly) — 1 year Prices are shown in the app in your local currency.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account on confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage the subscription and turn off auto-renew in your device Settings after purchase.
