QuixTix Scanner

QuixTix Scanner is the staff companion app for event organizers who use QuixTix (quixtix.co). Turn any iPhone into a fast, reliable door station — check attendees in, verify ages, and ring up merchandise, all in one place.

This app is for event staff. It requires a QuixTix staff account or a device code issued by an organizer, and it works alongside your QuixTix account rather than as a standalone ticketing service.

TICKET CHECK-IN • Scan ticket QR codes with the camera for instant check-in. The scanner is bundled in the app, so it works with no connection at the door. • Continuous scanning — hold ticket after ticket to the camera without reopening anything. • Type or paste a ticket code by hand when a screen is cracked, dim, or won't scan. • Plain-language results: valid, already scanned, wrong event, or unpaid — with the attendee's name and ticket type. • Optional event lock pins a phone to a single event, so a ticket for another night is rejected instead of burned.

AGE AND ID CHECKS • Read the barcode on the back of a driver's licence and get one answer: accepted or denied, against the age this event requires. • Enter a date of birth by hand when a card is damaged or the ID is a passport. • Expired cards are called out separately from underage ones — a different conversation at the door. • The check tells you the verdict. Names and dates of birth are not stored.

MERCH, WHEN AN EVENT HAS IT • If an organizer has set up a merchandise store for an event, staff can ring up in-person orders from the same app — cash, an external terminal, or card.

SIMPLE, SECURE STAFF ACCESS • Sign in with your QuixTix staff login, or • Use a scan-only device code — a revocable credential for a shared booth phone that needs no personal login. Lose the phone, revoke the code.

Built for the door: high-contrast, large targets, and only the tools staff need in a dark venue.
