See the signals around you
Find the trackers, tags and sensors in any room. Now naming every registered manufacturer, identifying exact products, and reading temperature and battery from the air.
The air around you is full of invisible signals. SigScan makes them visible.
Point your phone around a room and every nearby Bluetooth device appears as a floating bubble in augmented reality, anchored in real space. Walk toward a bubble and the signal gets stronger. Devices behind walls fade. Off-screen devices show as compass arrows at the edge of your screen.
WHAT SIGSCAN SEES
- Bluetooth devices: manufacturer, product, signal strength and estimated distance for phones, wearables, headphones, trackers and smart home gear
- NFC tags: hold your phone against a tag to decode what is on it
- Your network: connected WiFi details, local devices, services and discovery traffic
- HomeKit accessories: every one by room, with model, serial and firmware version
- Cellular: your network type and radio technology
EVERY MANUFACTURER, NOT A SHORTLIST
SigScan carries the complete Bluetooth industry registry and the full IEEE hardware registry: more than 22,000 manufacturers and 44,000 identifiers, held entirely on your device. Hardware other scanners leave as Unknown gets a name.
Where a manufacturer publishes its advertising format, SigScan goes further and names the exact product. SwitchBot and Xiaomi devices are identified down to the model.
THE CHIP AND THE BRAND ARE DIFFERENT THINGS
Most devices are built on somebody else's radio, which is why scanners so often report a sensor as an Espressif or Nordic device. SigScan reports the chip maker and the brand separately, shows the evidence behind each identification, and tells you what else it could have been.
LIVE READINGS FROM THE AIR
Sensors that broadcast their measurements are read as they pass: temperature, humidity, battery, motion and contact state, from thermometers, leak detectors, door sensors and more. Nothing is connected to and nothing is requested. These devices are already announcing it to anyone listening.
FIND UNKNOWN TRACKERS
SigScan flags devices that deserve a second look: known tracker models, unnamed devices broadcasting at high power, and hardware from vendors on the FCC Covered List or restricted under Section 889, including their subsidiaries.
YOUR SCAN HISTORY, MAPPED
Every scan is saved on your device with the location where it happened. Review sessions on a map, see which devices appeared where, and export your data as CSV.
ASK QUESTIONS IN PLAIN ENGLISH
The built-in assistant answers questions about your scan results, such as what the strongest unknown device near you is, what kind of device something is, or whether anything new appeared in the last ten minutes.
EVERYTHING EXPLAINED
Tap the information icon beside any reading for a plain explanation of what it means, or open the glossary for the full reference: signal strength, distance estimates, discovery protocols and how each identification was made.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your scan data and locations never leave your device. Identification runs entirely offline against data shipped with the app. Questions to the assistant send only a short summary of nearby device names, never your location and never any identifier. No accounts, no ads, no tracking.
