Ruta Meter measures light. Ruta Foto organizes photographs, places and photographic ideas. They are separate apps and each works independently.

The local connection is included with Ruta Meter Free for its daily saved report. Pro adds unlimited saved reports and transfers in Ruta Meter. Ruta Foto must be installed to receive transfers; buying Ruta Meter Pro does not purchase or unlock paid features in Ruta Foto.

Camera permission is required for live metering. Location is optional when saving a GPS report. No Ruta account is required.
