Due Something: Pokes to Remind

Due Something now runs on your wrist, can wake you with a real alarm, and keeps a lasting record of everything you finish.

Apple Watch

• Your Scheduled tasks on the Watch, grouped the way they are on iPhone
• Swipe to complete, snooze, or delete, and tap the plus to add one by dictation
• Choose what each swipe does in Settings, Apple Watch, on your iPhone
• Snooze swipes can open the task or apply a set duration you choose
• Two complications: Scheduled, in four shapes, and a New Task button
• Anything you do while your iPhone isn't nearby is applied when it is

Alarms

• Turn on Create Alarm for a task that has a date, a time, and Emergent
• It rings through Silent mode and Focus, with the system alarm sound
• Stopping the alarm doesn't complete the task, so it's still there to do

A lasting completed history

• Finishing a repeating task now leaves a record that stays behind
• Completed occurrences show in Completed and count toward your report totals and streak
• The history survives deleting the task it came from

Calendar

• Add to Calendar now keeps a live link: edit the task and its event follows
• The link carries to a repeating task's next occurrence
• A green calendar icon marks any task that came from, or writes to, a calendar

Siri and Shortcuts

• Complete and reopen tasks by voice
• Ask for tasks by list, date range, or whether they're done
• Full Reminders actions on iOS 27 for creating and updating tasks and lists

Finding things

• Filter Scheduled by Repeating, Calendar, Flagged, Emergent, Location, or Alarm
• Start typing something you've done before and pick it from the suggestions — the old task comes back instead of a duplicate

Sharing

• Share a task as a PDF: everything it holds, with a page for each attachment
• Export a whole selection as separate files, or as one document with a cover page

iPad and Mac

• Tasks open in a panel beside your list rather than covering it
• Reworked toolbars, with Settings and the sidebar button together

Appearance and selection

• Light Mode, Dark Mode, or System Default under Settings, Appearance
• Choose which buttons the select bar carries, in Batch Select Options
• Set a location alert on several tasks at once

Repeating

• "Last" in the On day picker, for the last day of any month, whatever its length

Shared lists

• A list shared with you as view only now says so, instead of taking edits that could never sync
• Flags, Emergent marks, and sharing still work on them

Fixes

• Resend limits now count per snooze cycle rather than resetting when the app opens
• Completing a task on one device clears its alert on your others
• Dictation no longer fails on the attempt after an interrupted start
• A task whose location can't be found no longer looks as though it saved
• Repeating tasks set to the last day of the month advance properly
• Faster search, faster suggestions, and less sync bookkeeping
