AnySkin - Ingredient Scanner

Scan a product and see its score, the ingredients behind it, whether it fits your profile, and when something in your routine is worth asking Ivy about.

Scan a skincare or haircare product and AnySkin reads the label for you.

Point the camera at a barcode, or photograph the ingredient list on the back. You get a score out of 100, the reason behind it, a page for every ingredient we hold data on with its ratings and the sources behind them, and a verdict on how the product fits the answers you gave.

WHAT YOU GET

Ingredient Score — one number per product, built from the ingredients and their position on the label, not from a brand's marketing. The breakdown shows you exactly which ingredients moved the number and by how much.

Fits You — your answers about your skin, applied to the bottle in your hand. Fragrance flagged if you are sensitive to it. Retinoids flagged if you have said you are pregnant. Nothing generic.

Conflicts — the check most people never make. Two products that are fine on their own can be a bad idea together, and AnySkin spots it in your routine and offers to talk it through with Ivy.

Ingredient search — look up any ingredient in AnySkin's database by name, even one off the label of a product you have not scanned.

Ask Ivy — questions about skincare and your own products. Ask from a product's Fits You tab and Ivy is given that product's name, score and key ingredients.

Sun and UV — today's index where you are, hour by hour, and what that level calls for.

THERE IS NO ACCOUNT

No email address, no password, no sign-in. Your profile, your history, your shelf and your routine are stored on this phone. What you ask Ivy is sent to be answered, and the Privacy Policy says what is sent and why. We do not sell data and we do not build an advertising profile.

Brands cannot pay to change an Ingredient Score and cannot pay for placement. That is the point of the score.

HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS NOT

AnySkin is not a doctor and not a diagnosis. It reads ingredient lists and applies published rules about them. It does not diagnose anything, not even from the optional skin check photo, and it will not tell you a product is safe for you — only what is in it and what that usually means.

Ingredient data comes from a public product database and from the labels people photograph. Formulas change. The app shows you where each list came from and when it was captured, so you can judge it.

SUBSCRIPTION

AnySkin requires a subscription. There is no free trial. Access is AnySkin+, a weekly plan or a yearly plan, and the price and the billing period are shown in the app before you pay, in your own currency.

The subscription renews automatically. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, it renews for another period of the same length and your Apple ID is charged within those 24 hours. You can cancel any time: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel there. You keep what you have paid for until that period runs out. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
