A CAREER GPS, NOT A CAREER TEST Most career tools hand a teenager a personality type and a list of job titles. DREAMSTREAM hands them a route. Tell us what they're into — "I want to build apps," "I want to help people as a doctor," or just a few interest areas — and DREAMSTREAM builds a personalized pathway: an ordered set of milestones for the next one to two years, each written in plain counselor language, each matched to real programs they can sign up for.

REAL OPPORTUNITIES, NOT GENERIC ADVICE Every step is grounded in a curated catalog of vetted opportunity providers — summer programs, online courses, clubs, certifications, volunteer roles, apprenticeship on-ramps, and local organizations. You see the cost, the format, who it's for, and what your student walks away with. Where a step is better done independently, DREAMSTREAM says so and lays out a do-it-yourself version instead. It also shows the options it considered and passed over, and why.

IT LEARNS WHAT ACTUALLY FITS Mark what looks right, wave off what doesn't — already doing this, not my interest, closer to home — and that step refills with a better option. Ask for a gentler on-ramp, more advanced work, more hands-on projects, or something that fits a weekend. Filter every step at once: free only, virtual, in person, credential-earning, portfolio-building, or work-based.
