Features & Capabilities

Snap a photo of your groceries and get instant recipe ideas. AI-powered pantry scanning, smart dish recommendations, and zero food waste. Cooking made effortless.

What can I cook with what I already have?

PantryPal answers exactly that. Point the camera at a receipt or straight into an open fridge and it stocks a digital shelf. Then it opens on a dish — not a menu — ranked against what is actually in your kitchen, with two ways forward: cook it, or see another.

THE SHELF Scan a receipt or your fridge, or type things in by hand. The scanner deliberately ignores non-food, so cleaning supplies, toiletries, pet food, coupons and receipt totals never reach your shelf. Everything that lands there is illustrated by hand.

THE CHEF'S PICK The home screen does not hand you a search box. It hands you one dinner, chosen for the ingredients you already own and the time of day. Cook it, or ask for another.

THE CHEF'S BOOK — FREE FOREVER Fifty recipes ship inside the app and are ranked against your shelf on the device itself. No account, no network, no subscription. They keep working on a plane.

AI RECIPES Ask the chef to write something out of your shelf and it does: a new dish, its steps, and a drawing to go with it. Three of these are free; the Season Pass stops the counting.

NO ACCOUNT, EVER PantryPal asks for a name to put on your shelf and nothing else. No email address, no password, no sign-in. Several people can share one phone and keep separate kitchens.

YOUR KITCHEN STAYS YOURS Chefs, shelves and kept recipes never leave the phone. Scan photos and ingredient names go to the service that writes the recipes; nothing else does. Nothing is used for tracking, and there are no ads.

SEASON PASS

Everything above is free. The Season Pass is for the AI:

• Recipes written from your shelf, without counting • Scan as often as you shop, not just the first time • A new dish waiting every time your shelf changes

One season — $29.99 per year, and the first 7 days are free One month — $4.99 per month

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period. Manage or cancel it in Settings › your name › Subscriptions after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.

ABOUT THE RECIPES Some are written by us; some are generated by AI from the ingredients you picked, and those are estimates — including the calorie and protein numbers. Cook meat, poultry, seafood and eggs to safe temperatures, and double-check anything involving allergies or dietary restrictions. PantryPal is not medical or nutrition advice.

Requires iOS 17 or later. iPhone only.
