THIS FAR YOUR POST TRAVELS — AND NOT A METRE FURTHER Every post carries a reach budget. Each device that passes it on spends one step. Budget empty, post fades out. Friends make the trip cheaper. No likes, no boosts, no ranking — just physics. And the maths happens on your phone. Nothing reported, nothing counted.

CALLS THAT RING — EVEN WITH THE APP CLOSED Tap Talk in a chat and you're talking. Only friends can call you. The call is end-to-end encrypted, and the key's fingerprint travels inside your encrypted, signed message — no server can slip in between. Our server sees that a call happens, never what's said. It rings even when the app is closed; "Accept calls" in Settings switches it off.

YOUR KEY SITS IN A VAULT, NOT IN RAM The Secure Enclave creates your signing key inside the chip. It never leaves. Every post carries that signature: forgery-proof, no central database, no password to remember. Even someone holding your phone can't reach it.

ENCRYPTED — AND HONEST ABOUT IT Posts to friends, group chats and every direct message are end-to-end encrypted (X25519 + AES-256-GCM). We can't read them. Posts to "Everyone" are public — we'd rather tell you upfront than afterwards.

WHAT'S ON THE SAME WI-FI STAYS ON THE SAME WI-FI Pick "Local" and your post never leaves the network. Device to device, no detour through anyone's server. Photos are recompressed first — GPS and camera EXIF are gone.

AI PROTECTION THAT NEVER LEAVES YOUR PHONE A model ships inside the app and checks every photo for nudity and violence before it goes out. Plus an estimate of whether a text reads as machine-written — shown as a hint, not a verdict. No cloud looking over your shoulder.

SPOTLIGHT: A DIRECTORY, NOT A RANKING Find people, clubs and small businesses by place, topic or hashtag. Everyone in it put themselves there, and the top spots shuffle on every visit.

ONE COMMENT. SHORT AND MEANT. No more 400-line rants. One comment per post, 2 to 60 characters. If you've got something to say, make it land.

SEVEN DAYS, THEN THAT'S THAT Posts disappear on their own. No archive catching up with you ten years later.
