Small Pause gives little ones a gentle world to explore—and grown-ups a moment to reset.

Designed for children age five and under, Small Pause turns an iPhone or iPad into a calm, distraction-free playroom. Friendly story animals guide little hands through Montessori-inspired activities at an unhurried pace.

Children can sort objects by size, match animals to their homes, trace glowing shapes, stack smooth stones, mix colors, build a cozy nest, guide falling leaves, discover environmental sounds, create water ripples, follow a breathing flower, and more.

Small Pause avoids streaks, competitive scores, flashing rewards, and noisy reward loops. Movement stays slow, instructions stay simple, and children are encouraged to notice, touch, listen, and try again.

Guided Access is an Apple accessibility feature enabled by a grown-up in device settings. Small Pause explains the setup and detects whether a session is active, but cannot enable or enforce Guided Access itself.
