Time On Water can connect to supported marine-network gateways over Wi-Fi, bringing compatible onboard data onto the screens you already own.

Save the connections you use and return to them quickly with Quick Connect. Data availability depends on the instruments, gateway and information present on the boat’s network.

RECORD YOUR TIME ON THE WATER

Start a Session and preserve what happened on the water.

Free users can record position, speed over ground and course over ground using the iPhone’s location services. Connected boats can record the marine data available through their supported gateway.

Review your Sessions, inspect the recorded track and replay the sail through the same configurable dashboards used for live data.

Change pages, try different layouts and revisit the Session as though the recorded information were arriving from the boat again.

FOR PERFORMANCE

Time On Water Pro adds boat-specific performance tools for sailors who want more than raw numbers.

Import and select polar data, compare live performance with target speed and display focused information for different points of sail.

FOR THE START

Turn live position, movement and wind data into information you can use during the starting sequence.

Connected instruments and advanced performance features require an eligible subscription and compatible marine-network equipment.

Continued use of location services during an actively recording Session can affect battery life. Background location is used only while a Session you explicitly started remains active.

Time On Water is a supplementary display. It does not replace primary navigation equipment, alarms, safety equipment, charts, proper seamanship or the need to maintain an appropriate lookout.
