Keep the wage budget under control, negotiate sponsorship deals, set ticket prices and invest in club facilities. Ambitious goals require serious resources. When necessary, use your connections to raise funds for the club—or put in your own money.

DEFEND YOUR SEAT Supporters, club members, the board, the press, political figures and the federation all judge the club’s direction differently. If your support collapses, an extraordinary general assembly may be called.
