THE PROMISE Classic Minesweeper has that moment: two tiles left, one mine, no information — the coin decides. In a roguelike with hearts and permadeath, that's why players quit. Lodestruck removes it: every floor is played through by a solver before you see it. Only boards that can be cleared entirely by logic make it into the game. The opening is a gift, and always a zero tile.

THE PROOF AFTER DEATH And when it happens anyway, the game shows you the position one more time: the tile you died on, and the logical proof why another tile was safe. Not a rebuke — evidence that the information was there.

BETWEEN DEPTHS The merchant offers relics: the dowsing rod that senses chests, the detector that reveals safe tiles, the clover that dodges monsters. Contracts give each run a direction — more gold against more risk.
