Mentoring Moment is a calm, private journal built for mentoring relationships — with a mode for mentors and a mode for mentees. Pick your role at first launch (you can switch anytime in Settings), and keep everything in one place: profiles, session notes, goals, homework, follow-ups, and conversation starters. All stored right on your device. No account needed, no cloud, and it works fully offline (even at school where internet access is limited).

FOR MENTORS • Mentee profiles — name, birthday, grade level, background, and when you matched. See upcoming birthdays and years-matched badges at a glance. • Session journal — write notes after every meeting with automatic saving. Track follow-up action items so nothing slips through the cracks. • Dashboard — see upcoming birthdays and open action items from past meetings before you walk in.

FOR MENTEES • Your own space — a private journal, a self-written profile, and a question of the day made for your side of the conversation. • Goals & homework — set dream, this-year, and this-month goals, track homework with due dates, and log the moments you're proud of. • Streaks — keep your journaling streak alive and watch it grow.

FOR BOTH • Accomplishments — earn badges for journaling, completing action items, and more. See what you've achieved and what's still locked. • Unlockable themes — earn new looks for the app, each with its own font and colors. • Backup & restore — export your data, set up automatic backups, share a backup by email, or restore everything on a new device.

PRIVACY FIRST Mentoring involves sensitive information about minors. Mentoring Moment keeps all of your data on your device — nothing is uploaded to any server, and there are no ads, accounts, or sign-ups. Optional anonymous diagnostics help the developer fix issues and can be turned off in Settings at any time; they never include journal text or mentoring details.
